Christmas at St. Mary Star of the Sea

Each year the St. Mary's family celebrates Christmas with a number of activities.  This year was no different.  Events included participation in the annual Santa Parade, the Christmas Concert, the drama club's performance of A Christmas Carol and a band concert.  Here are some great pictures from these events.

Prize Winning Float and Pep Squad at the Santa Parade

The St. Mary's team of parents and children built an award winning float and then participated in the Santa Parade.  Read more about the fun event.

The Drama Club's Adaptation of A Christmas Carol

Every year the drama club produces two plays.  This years Christmas performance of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol was enjoyed by the entire school and the cast's family members. 

The Band's Christmas Concert

Five years ago St. Mary's partnered with Paul Effman Music Service to provide after school band instruction to interested students.   This year's Christmas concert was the best yet and included more drummers than you can imagine and a quartet performance by some of the fifth year musicians.
